Sri Lanka’s Company of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) is inviting seasoned professionals to apply for the position of Project Manager. This is a great opportunity for you to step in to the company which is one of the market players in Sri Lanka’s energy industry, where you will assist in the planning, implementation, and successful completion of crucial projects. CEYPETCO will assign the successful applicant the duties of comprehensive planning for the projects which include planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution of the project alongside ensuring compliance with industry best practices, corporate objectives, HSE requirements, and safety regulations. The role shall require a good deal of teamwork between the engineering, procurement, and operational units in order to meet the defined milestones, project completion in a timely and cost-effective manner. Experience in project management in the petroleum energy or infrastructure sectors and strong leadership and problem-solving abilities will also be required. It will be a strong advantage in your application to possess professional certifications as PMP or PRINCE2, together with relevant engineering or management degrees.
