The Department of Examinations – Sri Lanka has published a notification stating that the GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) Re-Correction 2024/2025 application period is open. Eligible students who have taken the 2024 O/L exam are now able to apply for re-evaluation through the re-correction application before the cutoff date. This re-correction is meant for students who believe there is some discrepancy in marking or processing of the marks. Written papers, practical exams, as well as other forms of structured assessment are included in the subjects that can be re-scrutinized. The last date to submit applications for re-correction is July 28, 2025. Students must use the official portals of the Department of Examinations and submit their applications according to the instructions provided by their schools or zonal education offices. No exceptions will be made for late submissions directly or on behalf of students.
